Hope to see you at Yaoicon this weekend, in San Francisco, California! Find me at table 30 in the artist alley!
I see Lee skipped the after party.
Prom is the strangest concept to me. And by that I mean prom outside of where I live because where I live it makes sense. Like other people ACTUALLY go to their SCHOOL gym? And there’s MUSIC? And then they come HOME?
Here (Belgium), we don’t even have prom… The senior students, called rethos, do organise an informal party (no tux nor corsage) but the school (our school principal actually) wouldn’t allow us to use the school name to promote the party! So, don’t even think about using the gym or any part of the buildings or ground‼
My school (and most in the area) rented out a hotel convention hall. We had a dj from the local Top40 station, so we had music, drink and some food. Most people went out to eat before hand. Basically, here, proms are just a formal school dance aimed at seniors. Kind of a “last school dance” event. A lot of people held after parties, but those weren’t associated with the school.
In Spain, or at least in public high schools, there’s kind of a graduation ceremony. Afterwards the students and teachers go to a restaurant and have dinner together, and then there is a party organised by the students.
It’s been heart breaking for so long. I can’t imagine how it’s going to get better, even with the wish.
*sob* B-b-but, th-they keep saying on the net that it gets better!?
Hey, the Steinlen’s poster of Rodolph Salis’ Company of the Black Cat tournée is back! I’m so glad when there is bits of cat in PoC =°d
Lee’s parents are quite cute :3 It’s tough for Lee now, but I’m glad to see at least one couple doing well here, although they are not really part of the main plot.
