Why aren’t you happy Frank? I thought this would make you happy.
What, getting the news that soon, Lee will be leaving to pursue his dreams? Or Lee proposing something that he must’ve known in some way, is impossible for Frank? I get that Lee wants Frank to at least voice his wishes to his family, but it seems that the rest of the family thinks of Frank’s role the way he does: He’s the eldest and the only son, he’s expected to provide for the family now, not pursue his dreams.
Would you look at that emotional devastation. At least a 8 on the heartbreak scale.
I feel like that could apply to both of them.
oooh Lee’s face
Break-up in three… two… one…
Nuuuuuuuu!!! Shhhhhhhh!!! ;n;
What a page turner! I knew the concern for his family and weight of responsibility would weigh heavily on Frank. Lee I hope you can give him time because the timing of broaching the subject definitely wasn’t right. I never speak of possibilities or a rosy future when someone looking at a past due bill! LOL
Well Frank, you gone, that would be one less mouth to feed…
Oh lawd…Lee’s eyes in panel 1…OTL…-so gone-
But that arrow…hovering text…stuff…won’t lie…kind of lol’d -sits in a corner-
Could he make money by designing & making accessories and selling them to HS girls, then when it goes viral, sell the blueprints(?) to a national store chain and earn a scholarship to a NY (of course) fashion institute ♥ all is well that ends well
No, Lee. He really can’t just leave. Not easily, anyway. He’s the only, son (maybe the eldest, too? But I think Sam’s the eldest?). He’s automatically responsible for his family’s well-being when his father will be gone. Nobody’s telling him this, of course, but he feels responsible. I also think his family would feel upset if he just left during these dark times. Like he’s running away and leaving them to deal with their problems.
